Merry Christmas

On the Christmas day, we were invited to a privatly owned challet BBQ party. Somewhere far above Serian. About the food, everything came out from the original charcoal grill was fabulous, especially the bamboo sticky rice. That was one of the local traditional dish. Simple and Too yummy!

Kids Supermarket?

Als was choosing stuff and put into his trolly.
One of the nice thing in Kuching is that, having the kids size trolly while shopping in the Supermarket. Well, make sure they pay the bill hah.

Christmas also celebrate in Malaysia, so as Kuching City. We can see lots of Christmas decorations on the road, shopping centres too. At the same time also start selling Chinese New Year stuff, kinda mix culture celebration.

Christmas just around the corner. Shopping Centres packed all the time. It's much easier for us this year because we are going back to home town Woo Laa!! Not much shopping to do, but the Christmas atmosphere still there...

Prep Dress Up Party

The end of the year, the Prep Teachers had a reward for the students for being good through out the year. They organised the party at the School Hall. Each prep student was allowed to invite only one guest, some invited a parent, and others invited their buddy, cousin or a friend. The party was well organised and fun.

School Fete - Big Fun Day

Whoa ha haa! Look at that Giant Rocket Slides!! That's what we been waiting for... School Fete! Every kid loves it!

We walked to school which was a good idea because the road next to the school was closed for the Fete. Everyone will get there at same time, and we are not staying too far away (too close I should say :P, 8 minutes its alright ma?) but this is the hot day... wink...



Als saw that Giant Rocket Slides from about 500m far, he ran like crazy barking dog, over excited (how he wish he got a pair of wing to fly to the top of the rocket).



Als:"Mum, mum LOOK!! "£%$^%&_)(*the "$£$%$^%&0Rocket*)(*£)(*)"($%*, MUM HURRY UP!!!"

Als:"MUM...WHY YOU SO SLOW?? QUICK HURRY UP£$%^&*(*^&*(&^%^&*(+(*&£!!!"

The Classes also having their show on stage. So Cute!

At the end of the day, Als only had one turn to get up to the Giant Rocket Slide, and he didn't manage to get a turn on the Gladiators. It was too crowded. The unlimited games wrist ticket is too limited though. Als been presuaded to play on other stuff like spinning chairs, jumping castle and more, which gave him more time to enjoy the other activities at the fete.

Ah well, the kids are happy so...

That was a very successful School Fete, everyone was happy. The day was hot, tanned and Grrrrreeaaatt.

School Reading Week - Book Dress Up Day

This is the day all the Teachers and Students dress up with their favourite character from their favourite book. Als chose to be Peter Pan from one of his favourite bed time story books. The school was full of fun when the teachers and student took turns on their parade show. How I wish we would have that celebration in our olden days.
